PFC Monthly discussion groups are open to all - if the topic interests you, and you wish to engage in rational and/or evidence-based dialogue, you'll be welcome! Casual dress. Discussion is moderated but informal - speak up as much or little as you wish.

Discussion topics are announced in advance of the event and are chosen for their controversy or differences of opinion around the subject.

This month's topic revolves around the topic of non-human personhood. How should we define personhood - in law and in ethics? Why should we bestow personhood on non-humans? What are the possible unintended consequences of this?
