It's a Miracle!! (or is it?)

From the Creation to the Resurrection, the Bible teems with miraculous tales. Some people accept these at face value, some people defend them as unquestionable articles of faith, and some consider them myths. But what if we were to take a fresh look at miracles through the lens of modern science? The results are truly surprising. Certain "miracles," such as the raising of the dead, emerge as plausible, while others, such as the story of Lot's wife, prove incoherent. But most surprising of all? The Bible turns out to be a rich source of comedy gold.

Clay Farris Naff, the Humanist Magazine’s Science and Religion Correspondent, is the author or editor of numerous books on science and religion, including his latest, on which this presentation is based:
