DG3: Death and Dying as a Secular Humanist

Death and Dying:  How do we as secular humanists approach death and dying, both our own demise and the approaching deaths of those we love?  Does death make life more meaningful?  Should we lie about our beliefs to our loved ones to comfort them when we or they are facing imminent death? Should we be able to legally end our own lives?  Where can we find suitable secular funeral ceremonies?
