Join free thinkers for Arts and Culture night at the ‘City of Asylum’ for a performance by Red Lily Quintet and their newest album Jesup’s Wagon- a concept piece exploring the life and work of agricultural scientist, inventor, and social justice activist George Washington Carver.
Carver, most well known for inventing 300+ ways to use the peanut, was the most important black farmer of the 20th century. Tickets are free, and must be reserved on the website: https://cityofasylumpittsburgh.secure.force.com/ticket/#/events/a0S6e00000eXskqEAC
We will meet at the entrance at 6:45pm, and be seated before 7pm. Masks required. If you plan on dining at the restaurant (separate from the event) they require proof of vaccination. The Event requires masks only.
