Discussion Group 3 South: Current Events

Russia is threatening to invade Ukraine, China is threatening Taiwan,  Trump is losing support among Republicans, the January 6th commission is gathering highly incriminating information against the former administration, and the House and Senate, in a rare bipartisan effort, passed a bill to end forced arbitration for sexual harassment cases, etc.  We'll talk about whichever current events are of interest to you!

Discussion Groups are moderated forums with pre-selected topics. Anyone who wishes to participate in the civil discussions is welcome to do so. The groups nominally represent different geographical locations and will morph back into geographically located in-person discussions when we can do so, for now we meet using zoom. They are currently held every Thursday. The topic for each discussion is announced in advance, sometimes with recommended reading.
