Questions for Discussion:

• How did your personal philosophy develop?  Is it different from the way you were raised?  
• What events, authors, philosophers, public figures, or acquaintances influenced you?  
• Were you raised in a religious household? If so, what caused you to change your mind (or not)? 
• Do you believe in “spreading the word” to others?
• How did you acquire your sense of ethics?  What do you base it on?  

• How does your philosophy inform your political beliefs? 

• What issues interest you: women’s issues, LGBTQIA+, racism and civil rights, church and state, Christian Nationalism, education, the environment? How do you act on them?  
  

• Would you like PFC to provide opportunities for activism on any of these fronts? What do you hope to learn from PFC discussion groups?
