PFC Connect — Enabling community, support, and mutual aid

Many of our members have expressed interest in getting involved. One of the first questions new members ask is, "How can I help?"

In addition to our community service projects like the blood drive and food drive, we want to get to know each other and make sure there's a foundation in place to help anyone in our own organization who's vulnerable or in need. We don't know what's in store for us in what's being called the Summer of Scarcity — but we do know that we're better off together, pooling resources and support.

We have some initial ideas and a bit of a format and structure in mind, but the intent is to build this together.

• Need a good referral for a plumber or a handyman?
  

• Need a grocery run due to illness or some other reason?
  

• Can you help someone with needed yard or repair work?
  

• Are you looking for a job or able to help job seekers?
  

The possibilities are really endless.

During the first meeting we'll do quick introductions.

• You can tell us about any concerns or challenges you're facing if that applies, or
  

• You can let us know how you might be interested in helping or supporting other members
  

We'll collect feedback and suggestions and discuss how we want to create the community going forward.
