Reason and Human Ethics by PFC Member Alan Johnson

Long-time PFC member Alan Johnson and our Treasurer Steve Kutlenios are teaming up to present a PFC book club session on Alan's book Reason and Human Ethics. Reason and Human Ethics is an especially suitable choice for the PFC book club because it sets forth a secular, rational (not religious) ethics. And, unlike most contemporary (and historical) modern philosophers, it argues for correct reasoning about ends as well as means. Alan will outline the theoretical basis for this approach in chapters 1 and 2 and elaborate the practical applications of it in the remaining chapters.
