Fundraising: PFC Volunteering at Pittsburgh Beerfest

We will be volunteering Sat, Feb 21 at Beerfest, which will donate $40 to PFC for every volunteer who specifies a non-profit code of PFC26  and a non-profit organization name of  Pittsburgh Freethought Community on their registration and completes one full shift.

This is a great opportunity to fund PFC and meet other PFC members while getting a free t-shirt, free pizza, and free beer. Primary role is to check in participants and/or serve beer to beerfest ticket holders, who are just so nice, happy, and appreciative.

As an additional benefit, PFC volunteers will receive an extra year ($25 value) of free PFC membership.  Send any questions to info@pghfreethought.org.

Please register with both PFC and Beerfest

• Click on Register button on this page to register with PFC so that we may coordinate logistics, including car pools.
• Register at Beerfest Volunteer with following information
• • For "Are you Volunteering on behalf of a Non-Profit Group?"  Select Yes
  • For "Non-profit code", type PFC26  and press SUBMIT
  • Response should be "Code Validated"
  • Choose Date of February 21st, 2026  (Saturday)
  • Select at time of 10:00 AM for afternoon session OR 4:00 PM for evening session
  • For Non-Profit Volunteer, Select 1 from pulldown
  • Enter Name and Date of Birth
  • Select your free t-shirt size
  • For "Name of non-profit group", type Pittsburgh Freethought Community
  • Enter email and name for confirmation
  • Click on required Click Boxes and hit SUBMIT
  • Obtain a copy of your registration ticket to show at the event

For 10:00 AM session.  Arrive by 11 AM for registration, shift ends at 4:15 PM.
For 4:30 PM session: Arrive by 5:30 PM for registration, shift ends at 10:45 PM
