The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism is Un-American. Andrew Seidel. Seidel is coming to speak at a PFC event on April 22, and we should read his book. The book is not a partisan rant (despite its title). Seidel demonstrates with evidence that the long-held positions that America is a "Christian nation" and was "founded on Judeo-Christian principles," are historically incorrect; the nation's constitutional principles are very different and sometimes opposed to Judeo-Christian principles. This book gets very high ratings by readers at Amazon and Good Reads.
