These are more formal events with a predetermined topic giving participants an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the subject beforehand. It is often focused on ethical or philosophical matters with large areas of “gray” so as to merit discussion from differing perspectives, many of which are issues currently in the spotlight. The event features a moderator to insure that everyone has a chance to be heard.
